Pearl Aday began her music career in 1998 when she joined the rock band Mother Superior as a vocalist and guitarist. She was featured on their debut album, Mother Superior, which was released in 2000 and went on to become a critical and commercial success. The album featured the single “Do What You Want”, which reached number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
In 2003, Pearl left Mother Superior to pursue a solo career. She released her debut solo album, “The Whole Story” in 2004 to positive reviews. Pearl Aday is an American singer-songwriter and actress who is best known for her work with the rock band Mother Superior. She was born on April 12th 1975 in Los Angeles California to parents Marsha and Scott Ian who were both involved in music – her father being a founding member of Anthrax while her mother was a former backup singer for Meat Loaf. At an early age she began taking guitar lessons from her father before going on to study music at USC’s Thornton School of Music where she graduated in 1997.
