Krukow spent two seasons with the Cubs before being traded to the Philadelphia Phillies for Bill Caudill after the 1976 season. During his two years with Philly, he made 31 starts and compiled a record of 11-14 with a 5.22 ERA before being traded to San Francisco Giants after the 1978 season.
