Louie Vito’s career as a professional snowboarder has been nothing short of impressive. He has won eight medals at the Winter X Games, including four gold medals. He also holds two US Open titles and is a five-time Grand Prix champion. In addition to his success in competitions, Vito has also made appearances in several films and television shows, including MTV’s “The Challenge” and the Fox Sports Network’s “The Snowboarders Guide to Life.”
In 2009, Vito launched his own clothing line, Louie Vito Clothing Co., which he continues to run today. He also has a signature snowboard series with Burton Snowboards and is currently sponsored by Quiksilver, Oakley, Monster Energy Drink, and Skullcandy.

Vito was born on May 20th 1988 in Bellefontaine, Ohio where he grew up skiing and snowboarding with his family in nearby Summit County. His parents were both ski instructors so it was no surprise that he quickly developed a passion for the sport from a young age. At age 12 he began competing in local competitions and soon after began receiving sponsorships from major companies like Quiksilver and Burton Snowboards.
Vito attended Ohio University where he majored in Business Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship. After graduating college he turned pro and continued to compete in snowboarding events around the world while also pursuing other business ventures such as his own clothing line and signature snowboard series with Burton Snowboards.
