Ketch Secor’s career began in 1998 when he co-founded the band Old Crow Medicine Show with Critter Fuqua. The band quickly gained a following for their unique mix of traditional folk, bluegrass, and country sounds. Ketch Secor is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer best known as the frontman of the Grammy-nominated bluegrass band Old Crow Medicine Show. He was born on November 2nd 1977 in rural Virginia where he was raised by his mother and grandmother who both had a passion for music.
At the age of 15 he started playing guitar and mandolin and soon began writing songs that reflected his upbringing in rural Appalachia. He then attended East Tennessee State University where he studied music theory and composition before dropping out to pursue music full time.
