Jenny Taft is an American sports broadcaster and ambassador for Soccer Without Borders. She was born on February 15, 1985 in White Bear Lake, Minnesota and attended White Bear Lake High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she was an All-Conference soccer player. In 2008, she was drafted by the Chicago Red Stars but did not play due to a knee injury. She joined Fox Sports North as a sideline reporter for Minnesota Wild hockey games in 2013 and now serves as the host of Fox Sports 1's "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" and appears on other FS1 shows. She also appears on ESPN's "SportsCenter", NBCSN, and CBS Sports Network. Taft is 5 feet 8 inches tall (1.73 m) and weighs approximately 145 lbs (66 kg). Jenny Taft was born on February 15, 1985 in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. She is the daughter of former Minnesota Wild Head Coach and General Manager Doug Risebrough and his wife, Sandy. She attended White Bear Lake High School and was an All-Conference soccer player.

Taft then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she played college soccer from 2003 to 2007. She was a four-year starter and was named All-Big Ten Second Team in 2005 and 2006. She also played for the semi-professional team Minnesota Lightning during her time at Wisconsin.
