Dil Raju Early Life
Dil Raju was born on April 5th, 1972 in the Nizamabad district of Andhra Pradesh, India. He completed his schooling at Zilla Parishad High School and then went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business management from Badruka College in Hyderabad. After completing his studies, he worked as an assistant to the famous producer D. Ramanaidu for five years before venturing out to start his own production house.

In 2006, Dil Raju launched his own production house Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC) with the movie Bommarillu which became a huge success at the box office and won several awards including two Filmfare Awards South for Best Director and Best Actor. Since then he has gone on to produce many other successful movies such as Kotha Bangaru Lokam (2008), Brindavanam (2010), Yevadu (2014), Shatamanam Bhavati (2017) and Fidaa (2017).
In addition to producing movies, Dil Raju also owns a chain of theatres called ‘Sri Venkateswara Cineplexes’ across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana which shows only Telugu films. He also distributes films under the banner ‘Sri Venkateswara Films’ which has distributed over 200 films till date.
Apart from this, Dil Raju is also involved in several philanthropic activities such as building schools in rural areas, providing financial aid to poor students, setting up medical camps etc., through his charitable trust ‘Sri Venkateswara Swamy Charitable Trust’ which was founded in 2012.
